Sumit Biswas

Consultant

Sumit brings 35 years of business transformation experience to Perform Green, having worked across a wide variety of sectors, and in both public and commercial organisations.

His speciality is framing strategy and supporting organisations to convert this into practical actions in mobilising and then delivering change; blending service development, process and technology, and organisation and behaviour change.

Prior, he led in-house consulting teams for some large corporate organisations. Roles have included the leadership team role for Vodafone UK as director managing cross-organisational change.

Digital features heavily in his work, with a skew towards practical applications and improving processes and propositions. Assignments include developing a digital retirement proposition in financial services, digital sales processes and technology transformation in the security systems sector, and telecoms implementation and digital self-service design for managed print services.

In the public sector, he is Deputy Chair at an NHS Foundation Trust. Here his portfolio as a non-executive director includes digital oversight for the Board. He was a panelist during 2021 on digital transformation (podcast: https://nhsproviders.org/resource-library/provider-bites/the-provider-podcast-digital-boards-lessons-from-other-sectors)

Other clients include the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, a Defra Non-Departmental Public Body, where Sumit has led numerous assignments over many years in strategy development; and work with Councils and in the education sector on service development and facilitating strategy workshops.
