I am a trainee on the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme. It is a two year fast-track leadership development programme made up of 3 placements across two years. In addition to working towards a MSc in Healthcare Leadership.
I graduated with a degree in International Business Management from Coventry University. As part of this degree I spent a year studying European Studies in Maastricht, the Netherlands, where I also improved my Dutch and German Fluency.
Having just finished the first year-long placement working as part of the programme management team for Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership, leading on the delivery of a service evaluation and supporting on several transformation projects. I now join Perform Green on an eight-week ‘flexi’ placement, the purpose of this placement is to gain exposure and learn about different ways of working outside the NHS and to carry this forward into our next placement/career. My next placement following Perform Green will be at Southmead Hospital as operations and performance manager for trauma orthopaedics.
During my time at Perform Green I hope to develop my understanding of how digitally inspired change can improve the lives of those living in Smart Cities. In addition to gaining further knowledge on how to successfully embed these changes to ensure the benefits are maximised for all across the city or organisation.
